On or about 14-Feb-96 09:00:52 Chris Bradford typed the following words about
"THOR v2.22 No News. HELP!!". My reply is thus...

CB> Thor isn't getting the USEnet newsgroups from the NNTP server.
CB> I've told it to get the conf list serveral times, but the conference I
CB> ever see is E-Mail. What am I doing wrong?

Once you tell Thor to get the conference list you have to log on to your ISP and
tell connect Thor to send events. That will download the list of news groups
from your ISP. Then you have to run Thor and join the news groups you want to
read. Next time you logon to your ISP and do a send events the news groups you
picked will be joined. Then you can do a get news and the articles from the
groups you joined will be transferred to your computer. Then you will see a
conference for each group.
