Help anyone! I'm trying to get AmiTCP installed on my Amiga 1200 with a SLIP device. So far though, it hasn't worked at all. I'm fairly certain that I'm putting all the config info in correctly, but when I start it up, there is a pause of about a minute and then a return to the shell prompt. I know its not connected because telnet/finger commands will not work at all. Netstat gives me a lot of zeroes. AMosiac returns a "failed to create application" message. It's definitely not working, I know. Can anyone see an obvious problem here? IP addressing won't even work, so I don't think it's a name server problem either. I really need help! Shell commands are driving me insane! Thanks to anyone helpful..... SteveT. Please post back to my new address at stevet@geko.com.au or to this group.
