JM> Is there anyway to connect an Amiga onto Novell Netware or JM> Windows for workgroups network, Please no flames, I'm new to JM> understanding this Network stuff and find it a little daunting. JM> :) JM> -Jm John, there's a whole boatload of us out here trying to do just that, in our case from Win-95 to AmiTCP 4.2 registered. At one point yesterday, I did have it so they could ping each other only, and the Win-95 machine could go thru the network neighborhood and address itself by its name with apparently full access. We, at this time, think we'll prolly have to delete the 95 version of TCP/IP and use another 3rd party tcp/ip stack. It seems the MS version is so stripped it can't do anything not dialup/internet related. Bummer, but we're a bunch of pit-bulls, at the mo spending money at WaldenBooks looking for clues like it was somebody elses money! (Well, actually it is 8^D) Progress, when made, will be posted, and hints when offered, will be checked out!
