AmiTCP, telnetd etc

I am running a system here that includes an AXsh shell environment and
an AmiTCP v3.0b2 network setup. At the moment the AmiTCP stuff is
running over ethernet to two or three (usually) other machines. I am
also using tnserv by Steve Holland sdh4@cornell.edu to provide a
telnet login from network connections to the AXsh environment.

Modem logins via trapdoor and other selector programs into AXsh works
just fine. Local logins into AXsh work just fine. Telnet connections
from my own machine via tnserv work just fine. Telnet connections
from an IBM machine running WinSock also work just fine. In fact, at
the moment the only problem is in a telnet connection from another
Amiga running NetBSD-Amiga. In this last case, my machine is crashed
every time, without fail, when the login is completed. It would
_appear_ that something is being set in the AXsh system that NetBSD's
telnet does not like but I really don't know what it is or where to
look.

Can anyone suggest where I might start looking for a fix to this
problem? I am planning on running NetBSD-Amiga on another machine
soon and would really miss a telnet connection to the AmigaDOS
machine.

What sort of settings does telnet on NetBSD expect to make use of?
What about the stuff that AXsh assumes? Is is possible that I am
looking at a simple tty setting incompatibility or something?

Any assistance would be most appreciated.
