Box 808, L-495 >Livermore, Calif. 94550 <<<My opinions are mine alone>>> (510)422-1958 The RZ23 is basically a 100 Meg drive. In reality, it's a Conner CP31000 drive with DEC's seal on it. The RZ23L is basically a half-stroke RZ24, which is another Conner drive. The RZ23L is about 125 Meg. Official sources at DEC state that the VAXstation 4000/60 will not run any VMS prior to version 5.5. Another piece of DEC information is that the RD53 and RZ23 are no longer supported as system disks under VMS 5.5. That leads one to believe that the RZ23 would not be a valid system disk in a VS4000/60. If you're not using it as a system disk, and are instead using it for swap or something, then you've got a different problem on your hands. Try ANALYZEing the disk. -Eric -- ECLDCO@RITVAX.bitnet ECL6895@RITVAX.bitnet ECLDCO@ultb.isc.rit.edu ECL6895@ultb.isc.rit.edu Eric Loyd's the name, Data Center Operations is the game.
