I have the opportunity to pick up the aformentioned items (basically an
entire LSI-11 system) for what seems like a reasonable price. I used one
of these briefly in a lab at school, and it seems like it might be a fun
system to play with.

Are there any PDP-11 nuts out there who can tell me whether or not this is
a worthwhile thing to spend some money on? Will I receive thousands of
hours of hacking enjoyment from this system? Is RT-11 a true path to
enlightenment? Will this system at least look neat sitting in a corner
of my office or apartment? Is there anything I can actually do with it?
