I have a VAXStation 2000 with 14 MB of memory which I use as an X-terminal booting across the network from a DECstation 3100s. Recently, the monitor, a two plane B&W, died - we think the 120V transformer blew. I don't know if we can fix it or how much it will cost, so... Can anyone tell me what the going rate is for just a monitor to replace the above-mentioned dead one, and where I can get one? Or, can anyone suggest an alternative monitor? I don't believe that my VS2000 has the proper board to drive an 8 plane color monitor - but how do I confirm this?
