I needed to upgrade a DECstation 5000/120 which had 8Mb internal memory
with another 8Mb. DECdirect told me that such an upgrade was not 
possible; because that's not true but I didn't like to have discussions 
about the fact that 8Mb = 2 * 4Mb and that it IS possible we orderded the 
8Mb from a third party. They ordered two MS01-AA 4Mb memory expansions,
which I got within a very short time; later I heard that the third party 
ordered the memory directly from DEC US, which is no problem with me.

I got two MS01-AA extensions according to the papers, and the box contained
two SIMM modules. I believe this is not correct. A MS01-AA is a 4Mb
memory expansion, containing of two 2Mb SIMM's. So what I should have 
received are four 2Mb SIMM's.

Everybody I talked to from DEC, directly or indirectly in the Netherlands 
and in the US, told me that a MS01-AA is a 4Mb board, and I truely 
believe (looking the four 2Mb SIMM's in my open system ;-( with the same
part numbers, the documentation and the DECdirect stuff) that a 
MS01-AA are two 2Mb boards. 

Should DEC send me the two missing boards or am i going nuts here ??
