Hi. We've just replaced the CD-ROM drive with a RX23 floppy disk drive on a DECstation 5000 running Ultrix 4.2a (you can do wonders with a blow torch :-). However when booted the creature reports that it's a peripheral of unknown type. And of course, it's impossible to read the drive. I've found no references to various disk-trive types in the kernel configuration files. What am i missing ?
