We have a modem hooked with a ttyd0 of a DEC 5000/125 workstation. However, the zmodem/wermit hangs with such configuration. On the other hand the zomodem/wermit is ok with a tty00 of a DEC 5000/3100 workstation. The ttyd0 and tty00 at the above workstations are defined in the /etc/ttys as follows repectively. ttyd0 "/etc/getty std.9600" dialup on modem # oldname=tty00, hayes tty00 "/etc/getty std.2400" vt100 on remote secure # modem line Does anyone know why one succeeds and one fails? If you know the answer or solution, please send me e-mail. I will very appreciate it. Thanks. -- Alan S. H.
