CPS and a TI omni laser printer

I'v been trying to set up a CPS queue to a TI Omni Laser on a LAT port.
I'm getting a wierd group of opcom messages when I try to send a job
through. It looks like the cps$library is the culprit to me.

Can anyone offer some advice ? The OPCOM messages follow:
