mounting disks between DECstations and HP Workstations

I need some help on mounting disks off of a DECstation 3100 (ULTRIX 4.1)
onto an HP 9000/720 Workstation (HP-UX 8.07).
Upon attempting to mount these disks I get the message (on the HP) :

mount: server not responding: RPC_AUTH_ERROR; why = AUTH_TOO_WEAK
(remote error)

I should also point out that mounting disks off of a Stardent (Titan) onto
the same HP workstation works fine. So I know that the nfsd daemons are
working properly.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to resolve this problem would be appreciated.
Would you please send responses and suggestions directly to me and I'll
summarize to the net if need be.
