-- I have a requirement to have users access VAXes across a large TCP/IP backbone. The users need to be using DECNET as a transport because of application constraints imposed by the software developer. The question I have is how or what products can be used to allow either encapsulation or translation of the DECNET protocol going into the TCP/IP backbone and reemerging on the other end and being changed back to DECNET. The backbone has been known to suffer congestion on ocasion which may also impact timers, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. -------------------------------------------------------------------- | Mike Parsons 7CG HSRP PROGRAM | | parsons@nic.hq.af.mil | | 703-614-6121 | --------------------------------------------------------------------
