The specifications for the UNIBUS and the QBUS used to be 
published by Digital in the handbooks for the different product 
lines. There was also a little handbook which contained both 
specifications, called the "Bus Handbook". However, all of these 
books have not been printed in years (I keep my copies under 
"lock and key" because I need them).
 
Some information on the bus structures was published in "Computer 
Engineering: A Digital View of Hardware Design", by Bell, Mudge 
and McNamara, but the handbooks (particular the Bus Handbook and 
the Microcomputer Processor and Interfaces Handbooks for the 
LSI-11 series) went into the extremely low level details of the 
bus structure and implementation.
