You have a copy of Ultrix on TK50 that works OK on the DECsystem but not the 
VAXstation.

This could be due to the fact that the Ultrix distribution you have is for 
the MIPS processors used in DECsystems rather than the VAX processors used in 
VAXes.

OS options for VAXstations are Ultrix/VAX and VMS. At the time of going to 
keyboard, NetBSD/VAX will not support the internals of the VAXstations
