So here's the story...

I'm after C1534-90500 which is the upgrade kit to take a 3.5 DAT drive
to 5.25 form factor and includes a beige colored faceplate. I already
have this but the faceplate is grey.

So, I start with customer services and he asks me what dat drive I'm
using and I tell him a C1533A. Immediately he goes on about how it's a
OEM product and that they don't offer any support for it. Like that's
the product i'm interested in!!!! So he then asks me what PC I'm
installing it in and I say a generic 5.25 bay. He says well they
_probably_ only make the brackets to fit a HP PC's bay. Anybody know
if HP have their own standard for 5.25inch bays? I mean why would
they? So eventually he _relunctantly gives me a parts number and I
contact them and they say that they don't have it.

Why must HP be so ____ing difficult to deal with?

All I want to know is a reseller in California (I'm in Seattle but the
Seattle resellers are totally incompetant) who can supply me with
this product.

I'm totally baffled why a company that makes such quality hardware
goes out of it's way to make it difficult for it's customers to
purchase it.
