I already have the rails necessary to mount a 3.5inch device ina 5.25
bay. ie. two brackets.

I'd like to know how one deals with the fact that the 3.5 inch drive
will have a 3.5 inch face plate. Will the normal 3.5->5.25 floppy face
plate suffice?

ie. The mounting kit that HP provides for their drive consists of the
two brakets and a face plate? Is there anything special about this
face plate? My machine is a beige colored PC Power & Cooling
case. Proper beige ie. the color of a Nanao T2-17.
