I have an HP4500 and it is producing faint black vertical lines on the
left side of the paper about 1cm wide.

I have looked at the imaging drum and it is covered with a fine black
film where the lines are.

I was thinking of cleaning the drum with a cloth, but I'm not sure.

Can anyone offer any advice please.

Many thanks

John Perry
