: So, I'm looking for a place that will adjust/repair this HP/Sony DAT drive,

Right across the street (well, 101 and Central Expressway) on Evelyn Avenue
is the HP Repair Center. Call (415) 694-2000 and ask for the repair
center. The person you talked with should have given you this number. I
can't tell you what the price will be but the repair center can.

: Replies via e-mail are preferred, but I read these groups, too.

  I tried...the USENET return address isn't valid.
