As far as I can see, there are two good choices.
1) Configure your router so that packets from the printers do not reach
past it. Then, the NBP information necessary for the printer to show up
in Choosers outside of your zone is not there, so they cannot get to
your printers.
2) Install a spooler like Co-Operative Printing Solutions' PServe.
This is very reliable, and has a feature to change the NBP type of the
printer to LaserHider, so that only PServe sees it. Pserve then
broadcasts queues to the net. Beware, PServe only handles 8 printers
per print server.
