to change the name of a truck, plane, train or whatever, simply open
that vehicles window box and click on the name field at the very top.
Just delete the name there and replace it with one to your liking!
its fun to name them and this is such a great game.
you wouldn't by chance know of any cheats for it? i've played this 
backwards and now really want to get a money cheat to do what i want
for a change.

The only feature of this type of which I'm aware allows you to change
the names of *individual* vehicles in a game. I use this to help
distinguish between types of vehicles (mainly ships) that use
approximately the same graphic.
