Hi, Have you tried setting the BIOS to it's default settings (should be a menu option for that), then rebooting, and entering the setup again to customize the settings. You might want to make a note of your previous settings before doing this. I don't think AMI made the motherboard...just the BIOS. You are prob barking up the wrong tree looking for mobo docs on ami.com. Tho you could find AMI's motherboard ID utility. www.wimsbios.com has some charts to match AMI & AWARD BIOS string to motherboard make/model. Your board might be a "Yakumo P686LX" I've never heard of Yakumo and I got curious and did some searching. Yakumo is a german company (still in business) with a web site. Unfortunately I did not readily see any kind of support section on their site. Read thru the results of a google newsgroup search: http://makeashorterlink.com/?J4D212762 There seem to be a number of people in your boat with no manuals or in need of BIOS upgrades. Maybe there are some good leads in some of the threads. If I were you I would flash the BIOS too, if an upgrade exists...and if you can find it :/ Jeremy ___________________________________________________________________ Please remove your windows partition before sending me email
