Incompatibility issues with Seagate hard disks & the TX chipset

I was planning on upgrading my old 5x86-133 system, basically by just
purchasing a new Socket 7 MB w/ the TX chipset and a K6 processor, a
new video card (Stealth II), new EDO ram, and keeping my existing
Seagate hard drive until I can afford to upgrade that too. But I
recently heard that there are several Seagate models that won't work
with the TX chipset. Now I'm worried. It's an older EIDE drive
(T-3851A), with a storage capacity of 850MB. How can I find out if
this particular Seagate HDD will be compatible with the new chipset
before I go out & purchase the new components? Anyone here using one
of these older drives with a TX chipset? Any help would be
appreciated. TIA.

Best,
Midgard
