I had a little trouble getting the CMOS on my Tyan Turbo to recognize my
EIDE Seagate Medalist Pro 3.2GB (non-UDMA, I think); but most of the trouble
was operator error. Otherwise, it works great.

I also have a Seagate 528MB IDE (note no leading E) and a Seagate 101MB IDE
installed on the secondary IDE controller. Aside from Win95 thinking the 101MB
drive is ESDI, they also work great.
