INTERMEDIA SHOWCASES THE MULTIMEDIA REVOLUTION
NORWALK, Conn. - Dec. 8, 1994--Do you remember the world without CD-ROM?
It took hours and days to retrieve data that now takes seconds; you needed
600 times the information storage capability; video games were little more
than upgraded pinball machines. Just 10 years ago, CD-ROM technology was
an infant and few even knew the term "multimedia."
Today multimedia and CD-ROM technologies have changed the very nature of
information, communications, and entertainment. It's a revolution that's
been showcased at intermedia, the internationally prestigious conference
and exposition, to be held Feb. 7-9 in San Francisco.
