I've read some flames on this group about it, but my experience has been very favorable. Its easy to hook up (it comes with an installation program that checks out your system to help configure it), comes with decent communications and fax software, and works great. I had mine up and running within 20 minutes. I originally bought a cheap modem (Newcomm 28,800) and it was a piece of junk! It was a bear to install, it was slow, liked to disconnect for no apparant reason, and just was generally a pain in the rear.
