Hi,
I'm considering installing a new motherboard (386DX/40) into my old
AT-286. I'm relatively experienced with installing hardware (cards,
floppy and hard-drives, etc.) I just thought there might be people out
there who had some general tips on the procedure - ie. what to do/what
not to do, handy hints and so on. The 286 casing and peripherals I want to
use are an NEC APC IV Powermate 1, into which I've already added several
things such as a 1.44mb 3.5" drive, 1Mb Cirrus Logic VGA card and
SoundBlaster 16.
Thanks for any help (email preferred).
Alex.
