Best Buy should be happy that you're boycotting them for two reasons:
You're probable one of those customers who are more hassle than you're
worth.  And, the more people boycotting various stores, the less
competative they have to be thus the more they can charge.

You returned to the same person an hour later with the receipt and he
refused to take back the memory?  That certainly is not representative
of how Best Buy treats their customers or you are leaving some major
detail out.
