: Wrong. EZ cartrides are bought individually or in packs of 3.

Perhaps, but I'm looking at packs of 1, 5, and 10.

: These are misleading prices. Unit pricing for EZ is $20.00 and at a capacity
: of 135Meg the print is $0.14. Zip pricing is 3 for $50 or 10 for $150
: which is being quoted above.

I just found this in a magazine (MacUser)

EZ135 (1): $ 19.50 (14.4 cents/meg)
      (5): $ 96.25 (14.3 cents/meg)
     (10): $ 190.00 (14.1 cents/meg)

Zip (1): $ 19.50 (19.5 cents/meg)
      (3): $ 49.50 (16.5 cents/meg)
     (10): $ 139.00 (13.9 cents/meg)

(where meg == 1,000,000 bytes, manufacturers specification)

Again, I say that the cost of media is so close that it's not a factor.
Of course, single quanities for a removable media drive doesn't make
sense to me. For $139, why not just buy ten? I suppose if you plan on
just buying a few disks, the EZ can be substantially cheaper but you'd be
better off with a hard drive.

Of course, Reveal is now a Zip drive vendor, but I do not know if they
are going to make media.
