I have no experience with Digital Processing Technology but I am currently using an Advansys ABP-930, it replaced my 2940 and is considerably faster. It cost around 1/2 the price and has excellent tech support. It ships with drivers for win3.1, win95, win NT, SCO Unix, Interactive Unix, netware, and you can dl Linux drivers from there website. It has a 50Mhz RISC processor and does an excellent job of command queing and scatter/gather. I'd very much recommend you check out there web page BEFORE you purchase anything else. www.advansys.com --Mike B.
