Reading a tar file on a DDS tape in DOS/Windows

I have a 4mm DDS tape that contains a TAR archive made under UNIX. I want to
read it into my DOS/95 machine. I have looked at several TAR utilities, but it
seems that either they are specific to Adaptec adapters, or do no deal with SCSI
tape drives.

I have a HP DDS-DC drive, and a BusLogic adapter.

I would appreciate any help with poiters to the right utility for extracting
that file.

Thanks,
Laurent.
