   I don't think anyone has answered your original question, which was are
there drives capable of using the 650 MB media you saw listed.  The answer is
yes, the 1.3 GB drives (5.25") will also read/write the older 650 MB cartridges.
However remember that MO drives use both sides of the disk separately so
with a 650 MB cartridge you really have 2 325 MB disks. With a 1.3 GB disk
you really have 2 650 MB disks.  You have to flip the cartridge over in most
drives.  As some people have said there are larger sized dirves coming in  the
future for both the 3.5" and 5.25" media.
