>This mean that a file of 2 bytes (yes two bytes) occupies 2K on a 100MB HD,
and the same file occupies 32K on a 1.2GB. Wow what a waste. Imagine if you
have 1,000 file with less than 15K, this will take twice the space needed on
your HD. Because a cluster can only be>occupied by one file at the time. So
if you have a 67K file size, it will take 96K of real space on a 32K cluster
size HD of 1.2GB.

HPFS or NTFS. Or if you have only COUPLE BIG FILE on that drive and NEED THE
SPACE FOR IT.

OR --- You can DriveSpace (DRVSPACE) a single large 2 GB partition, and your
files will be cleverly optimized to NOT waste space. The reason this works is
that all the DRVSPACE'd files are compressed into a single file. (You may
need several logical DriveSpace drives within that large partition; there is a
limit to the size of a DriveSpace drive.)
