I talked to my sales rep today. And it dawned on me a reason why things may be so busy and backordered right now. Seems as if they got a good review (3rd out of 20 systems, 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th all Pentium systems) in PC World (?) and the phone has been ringing off the hook. The only reason I got through to my rep he said was that he now has to keep his phone on Do Not Disturb and only accept orders from people who know his line. This unexpected upswing in sales could have screwed up their inventory. That's my guess. BTW, one trick I've found is to order a Computers Now system and order the extras separately, that way I get my system faster.
