I don't find any flaw in 3dfx's strategy of getting the frame rates up high
enough where they can add some funky new technology and not have a noticeable
performance hit.  Setting a goal of 60fps in a particular resolution, and then
turning on all the toys and getting like 58fps is a feasible goal.
