Just a small 'discovery' that I would like to share: I'm using a Spectra 2500 and two Creative Voodoo2 12MB in SLI. The two V2s are inserted in the fourth and fifth PCI slot (the second farthest and furthest PCI slot away from the AGP slot respectively) on a Aopen AX6BC mainboard. When the reverse passthrough cable is connected to the V2 in the fifth slot, my fps in Unreal is about 49-50. Connecting the passthrough cable to the V2 in the fourth slot, my fps dropped to about 44-45. Thinking that my V2 in the fourth slot might be faulty, I switch the two V2s (the one in the fifth PCI slot originally is now inserted into the fourth PCI slot and vice versa)and connecting the passthrough cable to the V2 in the fifth slot(originally in the fourth slot), and the fps is at 49-50 again. It seems to be that the fps is affected by the 'position' which the passthrough cable is connected to the V2. Connecting the passthrough cable to the V2 in the PCI slot further away from the AGP slot seems to allow more fps. This is only what I experience personally and doesn't guarantee that it would have the same effect for you. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.
