🚀 go-pugleaf

Well I recently came by 2 old ST351A/X 40 Meg IDE drives.  According
to the Specs gotten from the 1seagate.zip file on wuarchive, I notice
that these drives can be used on either an AT or XT machine.  I'm
trying to use them on an AT machine and regardless of how I set the
jumpers.. It DOESN"T WANT TO WORK !!!


If Anyone has ever installed these kind of drives on an AT class
machine, I'd appreciate any TIPS or help on installing these.

BTW: since there are 2 version of these drives one 12 pin (jumpers)
and one with 18 pins, I'd like to add that these are both of the 12
pin variety.

Do I need a special controller for these drives? or will my regular
IDE controller do?  how should I set the jumpers.. for them to work?
or CAN THESE DRIVES be actually used on an AT machine?

I tried them as both type 40 and type 44 drives and still no go.
Maybe they need to be low leveled? (yes I know they are IDE but DM
will do it if you have the ACTUAL physical SPECS)?
