WANTED! PC Editor

I'm going to be writing some long assembly programs and I need a good editor.
The feautures I'm looking for:

  1. Speed (this is important for when I need to page around a lot - I
guess this means a text-mode editor of some sort).
  2. Flexible tab stops so I can have long label names (poreferably
"smart" tabs like most dedicated assemblers have).
  3. Ability to support a large screen (1024x768).

Up until now I've been using Turbo Pascal 6.0, which scores an "A" on
speed but an "E-" on the other two. Does anyone have any recommendations?
(Especially the names of any "dedicated" editors, but anything will do).

Thanks in advance,
Tim Morris,
University of Tasmania,
Australia.
