"Dilbert"s nerdiness appeals to me; there, I've said it. But I don't alwsys catch his references. In a recent strip, the humour lies in recognizing the acronyms buried in a sentence reading, in part, "...SO, EITHER AN IBM 586 WITH 10 MEG RAM OR MAYBE A SPARC CPU ON A LAN...BUT WITH AI AND AVR COMBINED WITH BISON..." But what do "AVR" and "BISON" refer to? -- Michael Feld | E-mail: <feld@ccu.umanitoba.ca> Dept. of Philosophy | FAX: (204) 261-0021 University of Manitoba | Voice: (204) 474-9136 Winnipeg, MB, R3T 2M8, Canada
