Hi, y'all!

I am trying to connect my two PCs via the parallel port.  I am
using the 'link' feature of the Norton Commander, but it gives
me a "Lpt1 is not available".  I checked my cable.  All pins are
connected and go through.

I have tried the same thing with the serial ports and that
worked fine (but slow).  I had to cross the connections of
4 pins then (null modem).  Now I am wondering whether I have
to cross some of the connections of the parallel cable, too.
But I have no idea which ones!

But maybe there is no way to get it to work since I only have
unidirectional ports.  Is that it???
Who knows about this?  Who can help me?
