You can get two Turbo Pascal units from the pub/pascal directory of our local
ftp host: newton.phys.canterbury.ac.nz [132.181.40.1]; they are...
graphprint.pas - prints a graphics screen (that your T.P. program presumably
created with the graph unit or whatever) to a printer or to
a file. Supports Postscript, HP Laserjet, IBM/Epson matrix
and some others. The resolution is as chunky as your screen
of course.
postscript.pas - use it instead of the graph unit (has the same calls as TP5
provides, because *it* calls graph procedures/funtions) and
it outputs the PostScript commands to draw the lines, text,
etc as well as displaying on the screen. You can then play
the the PS file, encapsulate it, whatever. The resolution's
as good as the printer can do - instead of a copy of screen
pixels.
These two are free-but-if-you-use-'em-commercially-please-acknowledge type of
software. They may have bugs (the second one has a few limitations), but have
been used around here for a while. They're always getting updated, so if you
have any suggestions they might get incorporated, but please don't distribute
any alterred versions yourself.
Hope they help,
Mark Aitchison, Physics, University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
