I don't know about systems that use it, but I know when 4Mbyte dynamic simms were all the rage, Dallas Semiconductor was selling 1Mbyte static simms. At least that is how they were described, but they may have been dynamic rams with an on carrier refresh circuit. One of their main products was (is?) memory with on chip battery backup. --- Donald McLachlan e-mail don@mars.dgrc.doc.ca Communications Research Centre / DRL office 613-998-2845 3701 Carling Ave., lab 613-998-2423 Ottawa, Ontario fax 613-990-7987 K2H 8S2
