Actions like this give sleaze an entirely new meaning. Intel hasn't been able to legally succeed in preventing the entry of competitors, so they are now attempting to intimidate their customers. Wouldn't 20% be a high but not entirely unreasonable royalty for a COMPLETE second source license agreement? Intel is becoming more and more irrational, paranoid, and hysterical in their responses to any and all competition. Hmmm. Where have we seen this sort of thing recently? Are we sure Ross Perot isn't secretly running things there?
