Yesterday I allocated an extensive amount of time to downloading the demo for First Things First from SUMEX. My modem is only 1200 baud. I decoded the binhex, then noticed that the resulting file has a DD suffix. I tried to double-click the file, but it appears not to be self-extracting. I then tried to translate it using the DD translator in Stuffit Deluxe, with the result of a message that I needed the DD INIT, which is not provided with the Stuffit Deluxe package. Any suggestions, other than to buy DD to try out another application's demo? I hope that there is a trouble-free and fast solution.
