Hi,
We are adding macintosh file sharing services(3.01) to our Novell
server (3.11).  This is in a student departmental lab (apprx 500
accts on the server). we have macs running both system 6.0.8 and 7.0 1.
There will be many students using the same macs. so each mac can not
be individualized for a single user.

I am looking for ways to set up the Macintoshes so when a person turns
on the mac, it will:

1. prompt them for a username and password without the user manually using
   the chooser. and log them in without letting them pick which volumes
   to mount or the save name/password options.

2. i would like to have the users personal directory mounted on the desktop
   rather than making the user go to it themselves.  Is there a way to have
   the alias function or Novell itself do this??

or if you have any other ideas on a way to setup macs for this type of
enviorment, let me know!! all ideas (well within reason) appreciated :-)
