I, too, had no trouble with Macintax for my '91 returns. So we ordered it again
for '92. But the headstart version wouldn't print on my Deskwriter with the
(current and correct) driver; I had to re-install an older driver (and I'm glad
I kept a copy around!) Also we tried to read in last year's return as a basis
for starting this year's, and it failed. (Repeatedly; we tried a variety of
options, and gave the program huge amounts of memory, with no success. Our
return was not particularly large or complex, either.) The problem with the
newer Deskwriter drivers was at least documented; but the ability to read in
last year's files was an advertised feature supposed to be present even in the
headstart version. We concluded that it can't print and it can't read its own
files. We will be asking for a full refund and trying TaxCut instead this year.
