I have used MacInTax for two years, so that's one year with each firm. I did
not have any real trouble last year filling out anything, and it was a
moderately complicated form. The only problems were that one minor form thought
it was unfinished and I couldn't figure out what was missing, even using the
built-in error checker; and that my home printer choked on the forms (it hasn't
really much memory--the printer, that is) so I had to go elsewhere (late on
April 15, when else?) to get it printed.

It seems reasonable to give ChipSoft a chance; they only had the program for a
short time (< 1 yr, anyhow) before it was tax time and they _had_ to release
it. If there are problems this year, though, it's goodbye.
