""Can anyone inform me about this. I'm looking for a drawing program which can
""use the system 7 publish and subscribe tools. (like MS Word and EXcell do)

We have seen that FreeHand 3.1, Illustrator 3.2, and Canvas 3.X all do
Publish/Subscribe. One feature that I like is this:

Canvas 3.X and Illustrator 3.2 can publish parts of a document, FreeHand 3.1
will not. For handling a bunch of small pieces this is a nice feature, as you
can do all of the work in one document, then publish each group separately.
(You can also subscribe to a group you published! This lets you duplicate
a group multiple times on a page and change all of the copies by just editing
one. I had some trouble doing this with Illustrator, though.)
