Now Utilities 4.1 does something screwy with key mapping indeed. I think I have localized the problem I am having to the most useful part of the package (of course), Now Menus. Try this. Load Now Menus as the only extension with System 7.1. Pick the finder's "file menu". The command key assignment (com-W) for "close window" is gone. Now open Eudora. In the file menu the standard Quit key has been changed to command-W (not com-Q). Go to the "mailboxes" menu. The command key for the "In" mailbox is changed for command-I to command-A. Reinstalling either of these applications is no solution. Anyone else ?
