Diskdoubler?

Both are INITs (well, Autodoubler is actually a control panel that has an
INIT component). IMHO, Autodoubler would be better for you if you are
just interesd in increasing your disk space. It's compression and
decompression algorithms are much faster and it decompresses read-only
files and applications to memory only, reducing disk accessing.

Diskdoubler is not as 'smooth' at decompression/recompression on the fly,
but works ok. It's really more intended for selective compression of
things you don't use too often and for archiving purposes.

Of course, they work well together, giving you the best of both worlds...
Unfortunately, that means spending a bit more, but I've seen a few places
with 'special package deals' (mail-order houses and the like).

Good luck!
